James Pete Poulos was born April 4, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George and Nedra Poulos. He passed away on August 7, 2011 due to complications from a recent brain surgery. Jim was an excellent Roofer and Tile Setter for many years. He was a long term member of AA. He has many many friends and was always willing to help. He touched many lives with his humor and love.

He is loved and will be missed by his children: Elizabeth Chappell, Michael Chappell, Nicole (Scott) Archer, Samantha Poulos and Jamie Pace; granddaughter, Addisynn Archer; parents, George and Nedra Poulos; brother, George, Jr.; sisters, Chris (Perry) Nolte and Kathleen (Rich) Wald; nephews, Joshua and Gregory and nieces, Melanie and Megan.

Viewings will be held Friday, August 12, 2011, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah, again one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 5335 South Highland Drive, Holladay, Utah. Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial Park, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
