James Robert Lyons, 48, of Port St. Lucie, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at his residents.

Mr. Lyons was born in Glen Ridge, NJ. He had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past nine years coming from Bricktown, NJ.

Prior to retirement he served twenty years as a Police Sergeant for the city of North Cardwell Police Department in New Jersey.

Survivors include his daughter, Kristina Lyons; one son, James Joseph Lyons all of Port St. Lucie, FL; his mother Lois Lyons; two sisters, Michelle Lyons Gialanella; Sharon Waszak all of Toms River, NJ, and four grandchildren.
