James Richard Carver, age 64, formerly of Moline, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 6, 2012 at Veteran's Hospital in Des Moines.
Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Swedona Lutheran Church. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial of cremated remains will be at Swedona Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to be given to the VA facility in Des Moines. Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd, Orion is assisting the family.
Jim was born June 19, 1947 in Milan, the son of Robert L. and Gladys I. Parkinson Carver.
Jim was an Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Florence Carver..
