James D. Spiegel, 77, 14617 Lincoln Highway, Plymouth, Indiana, 46563, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011, at his home, at 3:22 a.m. James was born on April 11, 1933, in Pierceton, Indiana, to Arthur and Violet (Weaver) Spiegel. James and Judy Boggs were married on March 13, 1974. They had been married for 36 years. James served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Sprint, after working for 39 years. He then started working for Husband Exterminators, then went back to Sprint and worked as a part-time security guard. He belonged to the Walnut Church of the Brethren, in Argos, Indiana. James is survived by his wife, Judy Spiegel; their daughters, Helen (Kenny) Haines of Plymouth, Kathy (Dan) Anglemyer of Silver Lake, Indiana, Shana (Cody) Leed of Argos, Jaime (Bryan) Hall of Argos, Cheryl Fouts of Warsaw, Indiana, Kay (Bill) Kelly of Burkett, Indiana; their sons, Terry Spiegel of Indianapolis, Indiana, Robert Spiegel of Koontz Lake, Indiana, and Butch (Tonya) Boggs of Warsaw; 24 grandchildren; 23 great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and his brother, Larry (Darlene) Speigle of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father Kenneth; his son-in-law, Kevin Fouts; and his sister, Patsy Hathaway.
