SIKES, James, age 73 of Lebanon passed away April 10, 2010. Mr. Sikes was a CPA and owner of ABS Financial Services in Hermitage since 1971. He was a US Navy veteran and avid UT fan. Mr. Sikes was preceded in death by parents, Lodie and Willie Minnick Sikes; daughter, Lisa Casas; brother, Jerry Wayne Sikes; and sister, Madge Sikes. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Clara Sikes; daughter, Trudie (Freddie, Jr.) Weston; sisters, Wanda Johnson, Peggy (Dennis) Goodner, and Joyce Atkinson; grandchildren, Amber Venable, Brooke (Jonathan) Hines, and Ethan Weston; great-grandson, Weston James Hines; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 14th at 1pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bishop Eugene Weakley, Bro. Marion Caruthers, and Rev. Richard Neal officiating. Interment will follow the services at the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with nephews Jim Johnson, Michael Johnson, Terry Atkinson, Oscar Rice, Roy Rice and Jay Johnson serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Monday, April 12th from 4-8pm, Tuesday, April 13th from 4-8pm and Wednesday, April 14th from 11am until time of service.
