James Thomas Shenep, 70, of Little Rock passed away on December 23rd, 2011. He was born in Helena to the late Paul Henry and Francis Eunice (Bone) Shenep on February 7th, 1941. James worked as a banking branch manager for many years and was a Red Cross volunteer and a certified CPR instructor. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and eagles. James loved his grandchildren and treasured the time he spent with them. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 43 years, Rose Marie Shenep.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children; Becky McGuire and her husband Steve and Andy Shenep and his wife Janet; his brother Paul and his wife Heidi; his grandchildren Brandi, Amber, Jeremy, Hannah, Jordan, Emily, Haylee, Shelby and Bradley and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 28th, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, AR 72002.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27th at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the American Red Cross.
