James Thomas Shepherd

Gloucester: James Thomas "J.T." Shepherd, 51, died May 14, 2012 at Mary Immaculate Hospital. J. T. was a hard working, respectful, and thoughtful man. J. T. was an accomplished carpenter who enjoyed working on various projects for family and friends. He loved his family and was devoted to them. His memory will be a blessing to all.
He was preceded in death by his father: William Lee "Willie Boy" Shepherd.
He is survived by:
His mother to whom he was deeply devoted Myrtle D. Shepherd; sisters, Brenda Jenkins and Linda Reed; nieces, Tiffany Jenkins and husband Hunter Lipscomb, Stephanie Jenkins, Shannon Reed and Abe, and Ryane Brinkman and husband Seth; great nieces, Courtney Jenkins-Lipscomb; Alicia Dunn and Machele Chandler; and his uncle, Richard "Sonny" Daniels and wife Ann.
Funeral services officiated by Reverend Kenneth S. Waclo will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 at Bellamy United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
