KRITZER, James V., age 56, of Dayton, died May 8, 2011 at the Dayton VA Hospice after a long illness. Jim was born December 18, 1954, in Adrian, Michigan, the beloved second son of Robert and Jean Kritzer. Preceded in death by his brother Jack, May 25, 1975. Jim is survived by his parents Robert and Jean Kritzer; two daughters Amber Pinnock of Dayton, OH. and Heather Wadsworth of New Bradenton, FL; and four grandchildren Rachel and Rayanna Pinnock, Mathew Wadsworth Jr. and Darcey Riley Wadsworth; brother Tim Kritzer and sister-in-law Marianne and niece Katie-Beth Kritzer of Pendleton, IN., ; and brother Tom Kritzer of Kettering, OH; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, specially his best friend Jim Hedrick of Kettering, OH. Jim graduated from Fairmont East High School in Kettering, 1973, was a member of the 1972's Championship football team and State A.A.V. champion in the 220 yard dash. He was also on the wrestling team. Jim attended University of Dayton College of the Arts and Sciences before serving in the Army. Jim was a proud veteran and served in the Army's 1st 75th Ranger Battalion, Ft. Stewart, GA. He was awarded Expert Rifle M-16A1, Sharpshooter (Hand Grenade), and Parachute Badge. Jim loved his family, the outdoors, his dogs, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Nascar. His family will sorely miss him. No formal services are planned.
