J. W. (James) Dennis age 77 of Desoto, Texas passed away August 28, 2011. Born to James A. and Annie Mae Dennis on September 21, 1933 in Dallas, Texas. He attended the Dallas Public Schools. J. W. retired from Mary Kay Cosmetics after a lenghty employment as Shipping Manager. He joined New Friendship Baptist Church at an early age. He also attended Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. He was marred to Jeraldine for 52 years. To this union two children were born... LaJuana Johnson and Cynthia Monette.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan and he loved to fish. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. J. W. was preceded in death by four sisters and one grandson.

J. W. memories are cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Jeraldine Dennis; two daughters, LaJuana Johnson and Cynthia Moneet; four grandchildren, Keven Johnson II, Kori Thomas (Jerrad), Antwan and Alysia Green; one great grandson, Jalen Thomas; three sisters, Bernice Dennis, Flora Smith and Lee Etta Gilmore; other family and friends.
