James Terry White, 86, went to meet his Lord on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010.
Service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
Terry passed away peacefully at home with his family at his bedside.
Throughout a long and respected career as a talented glass blower and sign maker, he made signs for businesses across the country and beyond. At the age of 14, he served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was a proud veteran of the Army Air Forces and landed on the beaches of Normandy, France, on D-Day, June 6, 1944. He always lived life to the fullest and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
We're thankful to be blessed by a wonderful physician, Dr. Craig Deardon, and the staff of Covenant Hospice.
