Jan Donley Morgan
1956-2011
Our beloved mom, daughter, sister, and friend, Jan Donley Morgan “Just Jan” passed away in her sleep on March 18, 2011 at the age of 55 after a courageous battle with MS and Aplastic Anemia.
Jan loved “her people” and furry animals. She always spoke of the unconditional love that her cats showed her and was a reflection of that same gentle spirit. Jan is now in the arms of her Heavenly Father with her family and kitties welcoming her home. Jan is a part of each of us and will be in our hearts forever.
Jan was born on January 7, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ralph and Lucille Donley. Married Donald James Morgan (later divorced). Jan is survived by her parents Ralph and Lucille Donley; two sons Koby James Morgan (Tristan Gray) and Logan Don Morgan; her sisters Lynette Montgomery (Brent), Lora Richardson (David), Rynda Monson, Karla Castillo (Roberto) and Tova Taylor (Alan). Jan is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and her loyal kitties Oscar and Fifi.
Our family wishes to thank her friends at The Coventry, The LDS Hospital Bone Marrow Clinic, and Hospice 4 Utah. Your love and care for Jan did not go unnoticed. Thank You!
A viewing will be held in her honor Monday March 21, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Mountain View Memorial Estates located at 3115 E 7800 S, Cottonwood Heights, UT. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 22, 2011 at 11:00 am at the same location with a viewing one hour prior. Online condolences www.memorialutah.com
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Jan’s name to the MS Society of Utah, Hospice 4 Utah and/or The Aplastic Anemia Foundation.
