Jane L. Wolken 89, of Winter Park passed away on November 18, 2011. She was born October 07, 1922 in Oak Park, IL. She is survived by her children Linda (Daughter) and Gary Bush, Richard (Son) and Kathy Wolken, Sandra (Daughter) and Chuck Burt, 5 grandchildren Derek, Jeff, Heather, Lauren and Lindsey and 5 great grand kids. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Maj. Leo Wolken (Ret.) and son Steven. Jane was an exceptional athlete and competed in field hockey and tennis and played golf until her later years. She also enjoyed the thrill of roller coasters and parasailing, but her big love was traveling. She traveled all around the world both as a military wife and in retirement. Jane was an interior decorator as well and decorated life sized houses and historic period doll houses. She and her husband were members of the American Legion (Post 19), Elks and VFW and never missed a chance to go dancing on a Friday night. Though they call it "The long good bye", for her family it wasn't long enough. Visitation and services will be held at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, Lake Ivanhoe, Orlando. Visitation will be Friday November 25, 2011 from 6-8pm and funeral service will be Saturday November 26, 2011 at 11am. Interment immediately following at Glen Haven Cemetery.
