Janet A. (Favreau) Regan, 68, passed away peacefully December 6, 2011 following an illness. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles Regan, her daughters Tracey Viotto and her husband David, Tara Scanlon, and Tiffany Powers and her husband James, her sister Judy Collopy, brother Bill Favreau, grandchildren Ryan Jacobson, Anthony, Taylor and Auston Viotto, Donald, Joseph and Jacqueline Scanlon and Logan Powers along with several nieces and nephews. Janet was born April 26, 1943 in Clinton, daughter of the late Nellie (Ciavola) and William Favreau. She lived in Clinton, Hudson, and Berlin, attending St. Anne's Academy in Marlboro. Janet and her husband Charlie lived in Grafton for over 30 years before recently moving to Clinton. She was a former member of St. Mary's Church in North Grafton. One of Janet's many gifts was working with her hands. She loved beading which yielded beautiful jewelry she would share as gifts to family and friends which she also sold. Janet also knitted, making prayer shawls for the elderly. Family was always her center, particularly her grandchildren, who will greatly miss their beloved "Gramma Janeo" and "Mimi". She also adored her cat "Muffin". Janet and her husband Charlie spent many wonderful summers on Cape Cod in West Harwich where they would share a peaceful breakfast overlooking Scituate Harbor in the morning, or an afternoon with family and friends enjoying lobster together. Many who knew Janet thought of her as being a real angel in their daily life. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers her family requests donations in her memory to The National Stroke Association 9707 East Easter Lane Suite B Centennial, CO 80112, or online at www.Stroke.org. Memorial Gathering & Funeral Mass Janet's family will receive family and friends to celebrate her life Friday December 9th from 4pm to 7pm at RONEY FUNERAL HOME 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton MA 01536. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Janet Saturday December 10th at 11:00am at St. Mary's Church 17 Waterville St. N. Grafton MA 01536. All attending the Funeral Mass are politely requested to go directly to church. Burial will be private at the convenience of her family.
