I remember Janet from our time together at Owens-Brockway glass manufacturing from around 1991-1999. She always had a smile and as my boss, treated me with patience and kindness, even though I was probably a pain at times while trying to learn about wine bottles! Everyone seemed to like her. She was a great person.

When we met Jan and Lou in California the kids(Cindy and her friend Jeff) thought we were going to love them to death and forever!.They were so right. Jan is a very special and beautiful person who will be missed by all of her family and friends.I am sure that Jesus and friends will enjoy the pierogi.

Jan was a classy lady. When she entered a room, everyone would light up. She always had a smile and a warm greeting.
She was truly loved and appreciated at the Senior Center.
I feel very special having had the opportunity to know Jan.

Mom always enjoyed her phone calls and her positive thoughts. Now they are both dancing in heaven watching over all of us!!! May you find peace and comfort at this difficult time.

Janet and her family came into our lives about 7 years ago. I feel peace within today. Janet taught me that infinite possibilities are born of faith in ourselves and others. Let us be content with ourselves just the way we are, and allow our souls the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. We only met Jan a few times over the years, but she always remember our names and greeted us as long lost friends . Such a wonderful gift!

I cleaned my kitchen yesterday. No, I mean, really cleaned. I did things I've never done before, and I felt this "force" propelling me to do more! I took all the spices out of the cabinet and washed inside and out! Then I scrubbed the outside of all the cabinets! Like I said, I've not done that before! I thought of Jan the entire time... although I drew the line at scrubbing the kitchen floor by hand.

Janet taught me so much in the 10+years I could call her friend. She helped me understand the "parent" point of view on many levels... with my own kids and my relationship with my parents. She always had an open ear, and usually an open door to listen and advise on the days or weeks "goings on". At the end of the day tho, it was always about moving ahead, or moving passed whatever you were stuck in. And I think that she would want us to do that at the end of this week. I will miss her dearly, will remember how much fun she was to be around, and continue to learn from her example. She was definitely one of a kind! Thanks for sharing her with me Pam!
