Age 61, passed away on February 2, 2012. She has gone to be with the Lord while surrounded by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie (Ron) Gonzales and her best friend and sister in law, Bennie Ann Luna (Betty). She is survived by her husband Leonard Serino; her parents, Ambrosio and Carlota Gonzales; brother, Donald Gonzales and nephews, Jonathan Gonzales, Martin Gonzales, Estevan Gonzales, Adam and Urijah Medina and nieces, Stephanie Gonzales, Melanie Medina, Shayla Medina, Debbie Ortiz, Pamela Martinez, Patricia Sena, Paula Narvaez, Cynthia Lucero and sisters in law, Elaine Gonzales, Vannesa Gonzales, and Maria Lopez. Janet will greatly be missed. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, February 9 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper N.W. at 10:30 a.m.. Janet and Leonard would also like to thank everyone who helped and supported us through this difficult time, especially, Hospice of the Sandias staff. These special people were awesome. Thank you so much and God bless each and every one of you. A reception will follow at the Moose Lodge, 2121 Edith Blvd. N.E.
