Judy,
John and I felt so shocked and sad for you, your father, and Ken when you told us that your sister had departed this life so suddenly. Although I never met your sister, you made me feel like I knew her. By now you may know that her passing was announced at Ascension last Sunday at the 10:30 service and Fr. Robert offered a prayer for her and for your whole family. We regret that we cannot be with you in person, but we will be with you in spirit. We pray for God’s blessing and comfort be with you, your father, your brother-in-law, and with your whole family.
With love,
Cheryl and John Coppock

It was with sadness and surprise that I learned of Jan's death last weekend. I looked at Jan's pictures and they reflect the person I knew - a happy, kind person who always had a smile on her face. She and Tom were most generous to invite my family into their home for family gatherings and joyful New Year's Eve parties. Jan was called home early but she is now experiencing a joy and happiness that we can only imagine. My thoughts are with Tom, Blake, Meghan and the Pursch family.

Dear Tom, Megan, Blake and Pursch family,
I was so sad to hear of Jan's passing. I've known Jan since the early 1980'S. Jan was always so loving and giving. She kindly passed Megan's beautiful clothes down to my girls. We are all blessed to have known her. There was never any doubt the strong love she had for her family. Jan had a beautiful soul and is watching down on you from heaven. Praying for your comfort in this difficult time.

Dear Tom, Blake, Megan and family,
We are so sadden to hear the sudden passing of your dear Jan. She was a wonderful neighbor when we lived in Sugar Mill and I will always remember her stories (what humor),her laughter, her smile, but most of all her cooking( I still can taste her divinity).I am so thankful that she gave me her chicken salad recipe and it will be that more delicious when I make it. At this time cherish your wonderful memories as all of us will too. May all of you find peace and comfort and know she loved you all. May G_d give you peace.

My deepest heartfelt sympathies go out to all of Jan's family. The shock of Jan's sudden passing is almost too much to bare. I met Jan through her dear sister, Joni. Joni and I worked together for many years. I completely fell in love with the whole family. I know each of you are totally heart-broken, and my prayers will continue for each one of you, as it will for all who knew Jan. May God wrap his loving arms around each of you, and give you the peace that only he can.

I have so many good memories of Jan and
her family. We took my daughters to her
beach house in Galveston. My daughters
Nicole and Christina learned to bait
the lines with chicken necks to catch crabs.
And then had to learn what crabs had to be
tossed back into the ocean.
My heart goes out for all the Collins family, my prayers are with all of you
during this difficult time.

Dear Tom, Blake and family, Megan and all of Jan's sisters, brother, dad and loving family:Jan was 1 of the first people I met after moving to Sugar Land,(SugarMill) back in 1987. We had a lot of fun bringing the Sugar Mill Women's Club back to life all together. Jan will always be remembered in my mind for her generous spirit, great cooking and great smile and infectious laugh. She loved her family so and words cannot express our shock at hearing about her sudden death. She was my emergency person when our Todd was @Texas Tech and that was a true comfort and relief. I miss her already! All of our love and prayers are pouring out to all of you. Take care. Love, Terri, Craig, Jodi and Todd Metzgar, Sugar Land,Tx 77498
