Jasen B. Winget
Greenville, SC

Our loving son, Jasen Brian Winget, 24, of Greenville, was taken suddenly on March 26, 2012.

Jasen graduated from J.L. Mann Academy and attended Winthrop University.

He was an extraordinary young man who could charm you with his big loving heart and warm smile. He extended his compassion to children on a mission trip to Kenya at "Maggie's School", built in memory of his dear friend, Maggie McLeod. He loved the outdoors for boating and fishing and was an avid wakeboarder and snowboarder. He worked for US Airways at Greenville Spartanburg Airport.

He was predeceased by his beloved great-grandmother, "Nunnie" and his paternal grandparents, Colonel and Julia Winget.

Surviving are his parents, Jim and Jodie; brother, Jarret and devoted dog, Bebe, maternal grandparents, Richard and Joann Fields, great-Aunt, Cathi and Uncle Marshall Carpenter, Uncle Buz and Aunt MyHoa Vaccaro, Uncle Richard and Aunt Dee Winget, Uncle Mike and David and Aunt Vonda Fields, as well as many cousins and friends.

Services will be conducted 4:00 PM Friday, March 30, 2012 at The Mackey Mortuary with Rev. C.E. "Smoke" Kanipe officiating. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends Thursday, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made on Jasen's behalf to Maggie's School, "GOA U.S.", PO Box 672935, Marietta, GA 30006, or or to the Greenville Humane Society.

The Mackey Mortuary.
