Jason Troy Bird returned to his Heavenly Father on July 9, 2009, following a tragic motorcycle accident.Jason was born on December 7, 1980 in Rocksprings, WY to Clark and Karen Bird. He grew up in Brigham City. He participated in wrestling while attending Box Elder High School and graduated in 1999.He was currently attending Utah State University working toward his degree in Business Management. Jason worked in the excavation industry and held many positions including foreman. Jason was a member of the LDS church. He received the Cub of the Year award, and his Eagle Scout. He would involve his sisters in earning his merit badges by tying them up with various knots and mending them using his first aid skills.He enjoyed working on cars and could fix anything. Jason loved fishing, hunting, camping and anything in the outdoors with his family and friends. He and his brother spent a lot of time riding their motorcycles together. Jason is survived by his parents; brother, Scott Bird, sisters Alissa Bird, Kristen Bird, and Jessica Bird, and grandparents Leland Jacobson and Jay Bird. Once you were a friend of Jason, he was your friend for life. He was a very loyal friend and brother. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City18th Ward Chapel, 895 North 625 West, Brigham City, Utah. Friends may call on Tuesday, July 14, at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 until 10:40 a.m. at the church.Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.In lieu of flowers please make donations to Zions Bank in Jasons name.
