Jay Bill Pritchard, 52, of New York City and formerly of Utica, died on Monday, April 22, 2013, at his home. He was born on October 14, 1960, in Key West, FL, the son of Ruth Merry Pritchard and the late Edward T. Pritchard. He graduated from UFA and SUNY IT with a BS degree.. He was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church. He enjoyed traveling particularly on the cruises to Greece and Bermuda. In his free time, he loved to dance. He also had great love for animals especially his cats, Ianto and Shalimar. His mother, Ruth Pritchard of Utica; sisters, Aleta Pritchard of Utica and Cindy Madigan of New Hartford; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews survive him. There will be a memorial service at Our Saviour Lutheran Church at a day and time to be announced. Interment will be in Graffenburg Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, New Hartford. In lieu of flowers, please consider the American Heart Association.
