VERMETTI – Jay E. Vermetti, age 49, of Plainfield, IL (formerly of Jenison), passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2009.

He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnn Vermetti.

He will be lovingly remembered by his father, James Vermetti; brothers, Jon (Taya) Vermetti, and Joel (Cindy) Vermetti; niece, Angelica Jo Vermetti; and nephews, Evan and Zachary Vermetti.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville (East Building). Interment will be at Blendon Township Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home (West Building) and Friday 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building. Memorial Contributions can be made to the family for Jay's funeral expenses.
