Mr. Jay Edward Mahoney

JAY E. MAHONEY
HICKORY – Jay Edward Mahoney, 52, of Hickory passed away at Catawba Valley Medical Center on June 22, 2012.
Born March 31, 1960 in Hamilton County, NY, he was the son of the late Bernard Francis and Betty Eldridge Mahoney. Jay was a wonderful man, kind and good to everyone. Loved and now missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Mahoney; sisters, Jane Locke and husband Kenny, Cathy Bennett and husband Charles, Mary Ann Frank and husband Herb, and Patricia Mahoney; brothers, Bernard Mahoney and wife Louise, James Mahoney, and Michael Mahoney; daughter, Dana Ann Rinker; stepson, Shane Hudgins; 6 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 11 am at Catawba Funerals & Cremations with Rev. Jan Brown officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11am.
