Mrs. Jean C. (LeBlanc) DeFillipo, age 75, of Lynn, died Tuesday December 7, 2010, at her home with her beloved family at her side. She was the wife of the late Anthony C. DeFillipo. A lifelong resident of Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Roy) LeBlanc. Jean was a devoted wife and mother who took great pride in the raising of her family and their home. She had also worked many years ago at Capital Supermarket, Maxeys Cleaners, and Franklin Fruit. She enjoyed playing cards, visiting her brother in Kentucky, crocheting, trips to Connecticut, and playing BINGO. Jean was a long time player and volunteer at the Lynn Knights of Columbus BINGO game on Thursday nights. She is survived by seven children; Gary A. DeFillipo and his wife Karen, Larry J. DeFillipo and his wife Deborah, Mark J. DeFillipo, Timothy J. DeFillipo and his wife Bobbie Jo, David M. DeFillipo, Debra J. Verrell and her husband Michael, all of Lynn, and Linda M. Scally and her husband Dave, of Georgetown, three sisters; Sr. Irene LeBlanc SSA, of Marlboro, Eva Cormier, of Lynn, and Rita LeBlanc, of Canada, a brother; Brother Christian, of the Trappist Monastery, Kentucky, 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a special friend Paul Feilteau, of Lynn, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Sonny LeBlanc, and the grandmother of the late Matthew and Mark Verrell. Her Funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:30am from the SOLIMINE LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME 426 BROADWAY (RTE129), LYNN, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Pius V Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hour's Friday 4-8pm.
