Jean J. Taylor, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away on January 24, 2011 after a long battle with leukemia. Born July 12, 1938 in Provo, Utah to John Henry and Nan Ellsworth Jackson, she was the seventh of ten children.
She was raised and worked hard on her family farm, until she married Keith Lowell Taylor December 6, 1958. Together they had eight children.
She is survived by her children: Jennie (Dick) Lucas, Nevada; Jane Hone, Springville; Linda Zavala, Spanish Fork; Rick Taylor, Nevada; Hank Taylor, Santaquin; John (Barb) Taylor, Indiana; Kimberly (Kelly) Jacobson, Payson; 28 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, her son Alvin Taylor, and one great granddaughter Brooklyn Paige.
The Taylor family would like to thank the staff of Mountain View Hospital and Sunbrook Hospice for their loving care.
Friends and family may call at a viewing Wednesday January 26, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West Payson, Utah. Funeral services will be held Thursday January 27, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Santaquin 8th Ward Building, 260 South 580 East Santaquin, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services.
