Jeane McQueary

Services for Billie Jeane McQueary, 82, of Lubbock will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2010 in Sanders Memorial Chapel with Dr. Stan Blevins officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m., in the West Park Cemetery in Hereford, Texas.

Jeane passed away peacefully Saturday, September 4 at Vista Care Hospice at Carillon.

Jeane was born December 12, 1928 in Lakeview, Texas to Billie and Lois Newman. She married Art McQueary on May 27, 1950 in Clovis, NM. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her son, Glenn McQueary. Jeane was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and sister.

Loved ones include her sons, Bill McQueary of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Mark McQueary and wife, Sandy of Phoenix, Arizona; sister, Carolyn Tisdel and husband, Berwyn; her uncle, Melvin Newman and wife, Edna; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many cousins.

Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or Cal Farley Boy’s Ranch.

The family will be receiving friends prior to and after the services at Sanders Funeral Home.
