Constance Jeane Thilow Gibson was born on May 4, 1923 in Richmond, VA to Karl Heinrich Thilow and Anne Cheseltine Penney Thilow.

She was a homemaker who loved to work in her garden and the company of her cat, Gracie. She was an accomplished stained glass artist and enjoyed many other forms of arts and crafts throughout her life including painting, knitting and crochet.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 63 years, Charles Maitland Gibson Sr., who died in October 2006.
She is survived by her children, her son Charles Jr. (Puck), her daughter Anna McCloskey and husband James, and her son, Ernie (Bruce) and wife Becky; grandchildren Eric, Matt, James, David, Alicia and Andrew; great-grandchildren: Austin, Tyler and Xzavior; her sister, Sadie Ricke of Cary, IL, as well as her sister-in-law Katrina of Los Gatos, CA, and many nieces, nephews and their families.
