Jeannette Jefferson, 81, of Hobe Sound, FL, died on August 8, 2011 at the Salerno Bay Manor, Stuart.

Born in Mexico, Maine, she had be a resident of Hobe Sound for 23 years, coming from Brookfield, MA. She had also lived in Rumford, Maine and Worcester, Maine.

Prior to retirement, she was employed at many shoe shops in Worcester and retired from Wright Line Company in 1986.

Survivors include sons, Norman V. Jefferson of Malta, NY; Paul E. Jefferson of Sturbridge, MA and David A. Jefferson of Brookfield, MA; a daughter, Carol A. Litchfield of Westerly, RI; brothers, Paul "Al" Levasseur of Worcester, MA and Philip Levasseur of Stuart, FL; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Roland Levasseur , Raymond Levasseur, Gerard Levasseur, Eugene Levasseur and former husband Norman V. Jefferson.

Funeral Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Young and Prill Chapel, Stuart.
