Jeannie J. Lynch, 62, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away, Friday September 10, 2010 at La Porte Hospital in La Porte, IN. She was born April 29, 1948 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Henley Probst and Julia (Marshall) Probst. Jeannie worked as a sales associate for K-Mart. She was a member of Assembly of God in Kingsford Heights, IN. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, writing letters and shopping. Jeannie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On October 2, 1965 in La Porte, IN she married James Lynch who survives. She is also survived by her four sons - James (Alisa) Lynch, Jr. of La Porte, IN, Jerry Lynch of La Porte, IN, Mark (Cindy) Lynch of La Porte, IN, Jeffrey (Angala Schoof) Lynch of La Porte, IN; two daughters - Melissa Richmond of La Porte, IN, and Angela (Dean) Lykins of Michigan City, IN; twenty-one grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Nowatzke of La Porte, IN, Mary Smith of Kingsford Heights, IN. and sister-in-law, Deanna (David) Helling. Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister, one grandaughter, one grandson, father-in-law, Gerald Lynch, mother-in-law, Pauline Lynch, brother-in-law, Gary Lynch and one son-in-law. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind. where the family will receive friends Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Services will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Wednesday September 15, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Wayne Rosson officiating. Cremation will take place.
