Brattleboro- Jeannine A. Rawson, 63, of Clark Street died unexpectedly Saturday, November 26, 2011 at her home. She was born in Teaneck, N.J. on January 16, 1948 the daughter of Albert and Isabelle (Tillman) Rawson. Raised and educated in Hackensack, N.J. Jeannine moved to Brattleboro approximately 30 years ago. For several years she worked at the former BLT Market on lower South Main Street and for Valley Fund Raisers. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed time shared with her family especially her grandchildren. Jeannine enjoyed travel especially with her older sister. Survivors include two daughters, Jeannine Barnard and Joey Rawson both of Brattleboro, one sister, Linda Torres of Northfield, MA, one brother, Albert "Butch" Rawson of Manchester, N.H., four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother James Rawson. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church with pastor Suzanne Andrews, officiating. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. Memorial contributions in Jeannine's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
