Jeannine Carol Hunt, formerly of 805 Baker Street, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, November 16th, 2010, at the Cornerstone Rehabilitation Center in Temple, Texas. Jeannine was born on February 18, 1929, in Anderson, Indiana, to Eugene E. and Mina S. Hite. As a young girl, she and her mother moved to Washington, D.C., where she met William P. Hunt, her high school sweetheart. Jeannine and Bill were married on May 8, 1950. To their marriage, three children were born; Linda, Bill, and Kathleen. Bill, Jeannine, and their three children, moved to Plymouth, Indiana in 1969. Jeannine and Bill divorced in later years, but remained friends until Bill's death in 2005. Jeannine graduated from Roosevelt High School, Washington, D.C., and attended the University of Maryland, where she majored in clothing and textiles. Jeannine loved the arts, especially ballet. She was an accomplished toe prima ballerina and taught ballet to many young ladies. Jeannine also gave her time and talents to help with the growth of the Plymouth Arts Commission. She was a dedicated member of the First Presbyterian Church, in Plymouth, where she built many friendships that she cherished so very much. Jeannine loved to sing and was a member of the Marshall County Chorus and the church choir for many years. She was an associate member of the Beta Delta Chapter of Tri Kappa and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed exercising with the "Silver Sneakers" group, prior to moving to Texas. She moved to Texas due to her deteriorating health. Jeannine is survived by her children, Linda (Ed) Houin, of Plymouth, Indiana, William P. (Jane) Hunt, of Temple, Texas, and Kathleen (Frank) Smith, of Perrysburg, Ohio. Jeannine also is survived by nine grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a great-grandson, who is due in December. Jeannine touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness, generosity, patience, and love. She will be dearly missed by many.
