Jeany Waldrop
Greenville – Thelma Jean "Jeany" Ellenburg Waldrop, 68, of 14 Alice Farr Drive, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at her home following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Harold P. Waldrop of the home; one son Tony Waldrop and his wife Lynn of Easley; one daughter, Angie Lamb and her husband David of Pickens; sisters, Jo Ann (Hovie) Smith of Sunset, Mary Lois (Horace) Holcombe and Sandi (Steve) Tinsley of Pickens; three grandsons, John Lamb (U.S. Navy), Anthony Waldrop (U.S. Navy) and his wife Alicia; and Seth Lamb; one granddaughter, Ashley Waldrop; a newborn great granddaughter, Madison Waldrop and her mother-in-law, Viola "Granny" Waldrop of Pickens.
Mrs. Waldrop was preceded in death by her parents, Alcie A. and Lelia Cooper Ellenburg; brother, R. C. Ellenburg and her father-in-law Furman Waldrop.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Thursday, December 22, 2011 in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Pickens with Dr. Barry Pace officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
