Jeffrey A. Lane, 47 of Saint Joe, died Wednesday March 16, 2010 surrounded by his family and friends at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Born January 18, 1963 in Hicksville, Ohio, he was a sales representative for Cumberland Millwork and raised Hereford and Angus Cattle.

He married Mona E. (Kinsey) Lane on June 30, 2000 in Tennessee.

He was Past Worthy President of Eagles #2556 in Hicksville, a member of Grand Lodge F. & A.M. of Indiana , Forest Lodge 239 F. & A.M. of Butler and the Mizpah Shrine of Fort Wayne. His hobbies were riding his Goldwing motorcycle with his wife and friends, cheering on Dale Sr., and Dale Jr. and spending time in his John Deere tractor.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mona of Saint Joe; Mother and step father, Leota and Chet Beam of Saint Joe; father and stepmother, Jim and Ann Lane of Highland Village, Texas; sister and brother in law, Lecia and Andy Brow of Saint Joe; brother and sister in law, Jared and Beth Lane, of Spring, Texas; special nephews, Austen and Landen Brow of Saint Joe; nephew Jack Lane of Texas; niece, Aubrey Lane of Texas; step son, Josh Warstler of Cincinnati, OH; step daughter, Jada Warstler of Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Larissa Lane.

Please come to celebrate Jeff's life Saturday at 11 am with visitation one hour prior at Pinnington-McComb Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street Auburn. Chaplain Heath Lisenby officiating. Visitation also Thursday 5-8 pm and Friday 2-8 pm at the funeral home. Fraternal order of Eagles service Friday 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Saint Joe beside his beloved grandfather, Lloyd Schrader.

Memorials to DeKalb Humane Society.

The family extends an invitation to all who knew Jeff to come prepared to share a story during the funeral service.
