Jeffrey S. Raynor, 52, of the 2100 block of Iowa Street, Chesapeake, VA, died July 25, 2009, at his home. He was born in Norfolk, VA, and was the son of Alton R. Raynor, Sr. and Sarah S. Raynor. He was a mechanic for Dreadnought Marine. Besides his parents, Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Debra K. Raynor; a daughter, Heather Bradshaw and husband CAPT Charles Bradshaw; a sister, Betty Trahan; a brother, Alton Ray Raynor, Jr.; two grandchildren, Correy Bradshaw and Nicholas Bradshaw; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Hwy. Chapel. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.snellingsfuneralhome.com.
