Jennie Mary Mianecki, 87, of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Hospice of the Valley- Eckstein Center, Scottsdale, AZ. Born in Jersey City, NJ on July 7, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Agnes Usewicz Dunaj. Jennie had been a secretary for Hoffmann-LaRoche, Belvidere, NJ for over 13 years before retiring. Jennie was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church and a member of the Altar-Rosary Society and the Legion of Mary. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Hoffmann-LaRoche Women Golf and a member of the Washington Golf Club. Jennie was predeceased by her husband Henry Mianecki, a son, Alan and a grandson, Jay Michael Mianecki, who died October 9, 2003. Surviving are two sons, James of Mayfield, NY and John of Scottsdale, AZ; three grandchildren, Caroline, Andrew and Carissa; two great-grandchildren, Trevor and Dylan; a sister, Ceil Aldrich. Contributions are requested to be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
