Jennifer Cyndesta Wilson Hawkins, age 41, of Elizabethton, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2008 at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Hawkins was born in Kingsport but had lived the last 20 years in Johnson City. She was a student at East Tennessee State University where she was majoring in Criminal Justice.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Jo Nopo and an aunt, Doris Ann Wilson.
Surviving are one son, Benjamin Riddle of Johnson, TN; one daughter, Laura Mychel Boyd Of Greeneville,TN; her father, Kenneth Sexton of Kingsport, TN; two brothers, Joseph Nopo and wife, Angelia of Houston, Texas and Ryphel Nopo of Fort Campbell Kentucky; a grandson, Gabe Riddle of Johnson City, TN; a step-father, Germen Nopo of Jonesborough, TN; a special aunt and uncle, Ronald and Jenny Wilson of Kingsport, TN; and a very special cousin, Ellen Lamons.
