Jeremy Neil George was born on 2nd April 1963 in Stretford, Greater Manchester.

He was educated at Stretford Grammar School for Boys, where his love of all things theatrical began. He acted in several plays as a teenager in the widely renowned Stretford Children's Theatre.

After leaving school he joined the Territorial Army while still working. His desire to serve his country meant he joined the Royal Air Force Police from 1986-94, where he was stationed at several overseas locations, including active war zones.

His passion of music continued all through his life. He was an accomplished pianist and guitarist, influenced by the Rolling Stone, the Allman Brothers, and Lynyrd Skynyard. While in England, he played in several widely acclaimed blues/rock bands, of which he was very proud.

Motorcycling had been a lifelong passion and he owned a string of Harley Davidsons, on which he toured all over the U.K., along with his friends in the Blue Knights to attend weekend events and a string of charity activities.

After meeting his wife Victoria, he moved to be with her in San Francisco, California, USA, in May 2011.

After an 18-month battle with cancer, he passed away peacefully in his sleep at home with his wife at his side on Tuesday 12th March 2013.

He leaves behind his loving wife Victoria, step-daughter Chelsea, and faithful canine companion Zoey in the USA. In England he leaves a mother and step-father, Jean and Stuart; a twin brother Nicholas, and younger brother Simon; a son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Jenny, and three grandchildren – Jack 5, Ella 3, and soon to be born Oscar.

His determination, strength of character, and conviction of his beliefs will long remain in the hearts and minds of his family and friends. All who knew him will forever love and miss him.

Rest In Peace, Jeremy.
