Jerry was born on December 11, 1926 in Paris, Texas and passed away January 2, 2012 in Sunnyvale, Texas. Jerry loved fishing and was a big fan of Nascar and the Dallas Cowboys. He served his country in the Navy during WWII. During the last part of his life he spent much time with his favorite pals, Tina and Ginger, his dogs, which he adored and they loved him. He was also known for his all time favorite snack, Starburst and Skittles which he enjoyed daily.
Jerry is preceded in death by his son, Dewain Jackson; mother, Ruby Cleo Jackson and by brother, Weber Jackson. He is survived by his loving daughters Cleonne Midgett and husband, Dennis and Babbett Bradshaw and Michael; one sister, Helen Morris; seven grandchildren: Jason Midgett, Kelly Madry, Patricia Johnson, Colton Bradshaw, Hailey Dalrymple, Landon Bradshaw and J. D. Russom and by six great-grandchildren. Family Gathering will be Wednesday, from 6-8:pm. Funeral Services will be held 2:00p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Anderson/Clayton Chapel with Rev. David Griffin officiating. Interment to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
