My thoughts and prayers go out to Kathy and her family. Jerry was an amazing and kind man. He and his wife Kathy have babysat my daughter Madisyn since she was a year old. Madisyn and Jerry share the same birthday. We always thought of him and Kathy as family. My daughter even called him Pappy as well as the other grandchildren. So sad to hear the passing of Jerry.He was a great guy. I dated him and remember the verse from a Valentine he sent those many many years ago."You're someone so special,Someone so dear. It no wonder you are thought each day of the year--In a fonder and much more affectionate way--Than this Valentine greeting can possibly say" The card meant a lot then and still does. We are so sorry to hear about your dad passing away. He was one very special person who always had a smile on his face, and he would always wave at us if we seen him go by in the truck . And, am also sad to know of his passing. I'm sure you all were a blessing to Jerry in his daily life, and especially in his final days, as you supported him in his battle for Life.
