Jerry L. Vorpahl, 54, formerly of Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, died Saturday, January 7, 2012.

Jerry Lane Vorpahl was born November 21, 1957 in Oconto Falls, to Leslie and Agnes (Brazeau) Vorpahl. He was a graduate of Oconto Falls High School, as well as the Broadcast Institute and Art Institute of Baltimore. Early in life, Jerry worked as a D.J. He then was a drummer in a Elvis Tribute Band traveling throughout the country. Jerry married Michelle Boyer April 25, 1981. The couple settled in Milwaukee where he worked as a Graphic Artist.

Surviving are sons, Jerry Paul and Daniel Vorpahl of Milwaukee; siblings, Theresa Runge of DePere, Phyllis (William) Uelmen of Cecil, Butch (Shirley) Vorpahl of Oconto Falls, Daryl Vorpahl of Jacksonville, Florida, and Debbi Lolley of Oconto Falls.

Preceding Jerry in death were his parents and a brother, Larry.

A service will be held in Grace Lutheran Church, Oconto Falls, at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012 with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed and a photo tribute viewed at www.lemkefuneralhomes.com.
