Mr. Jerry "Slim" Wilhite, 76, a native Greenvillian, died Sunday evening, November 6, 2011.

He was son of the late Emory and Frances Vaughn Wilhite.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wives, Lynda Wilhite and Claudia Wilhite and his maternal uncles, Allen E. Vaughn, Robert Vaughn, William Vaughn, and Jack Vaughn.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Michelle Wilhite and grandson Jonathan Savage.

A celebration of Mr. Wilhite's life will be held Thursday, November 10th at eleven o'clock at The Mackey Mortuary with The Reverend Eric Schnaufer officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from four until six o'clock at The Mackey Mortuary, 311 Century Drive.
