Jessie Israel, 48, passed away of a sudden illness Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 at St. Patrick Hospital. He was born April 7, 1963, in Long Beach, Calif., to Renee Kearns and Norman Wigley. He Grew up in Los Angelos amd attended a variety of schools there. Hee went into the U.S, Coast Guard in the early 80's. He earned a bachelors degree in human services at Springfield College and later completed a master's degree in addiction counceling at the University of Great Falls. He was most recently employed at the Montana State Hospital as a licensed addiction counselor. On Aur. 18, 2077, he married Erin Grunhuvd in Hobson. They made their life and home in Deer Lodge and have two beautiful children. Jessse had a great intrest and love for power lifting and always strived to hit the most weight. He enjoyed going to lifting meets and won several medals and trophies throughout the last few years. As he had on his arm"Go Heavy or Go Home". He was an exceptionally intelligent independent man who worked hard for what he had. He was a family man who loved and adored all of his children. He was full of integrity and appreciated for his realism. He had great abilities to entertain others with his humor and sarcasm and we will all miss his many vocal impresonations. Jesse was preceded in death by his biological father, Norman Wigley, and his beloved father Earl Hunter. Survivors include his wife Erin of Deer Lodge; his children, Sophie Israel of Deer Lodge, Cohen Israel of Deer Lodge, Travis(Tyler) Israel of Charleston, S.C., Diana Jordan of SanDiego, Lando Brown of San Diego Katrina(Brian) Chambers of San Diego; his grandaughters, Maria and Imani Brown; his mother Renee(Joe)Kearnsof Littlerock, Calif;his brother Earl(Davia) Hunter of Los Angeles; his two sisters, Billie Jo and Terra; along with nieces, nephews, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. There will bea visition on Tuesday, Sept 13, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Cremation & burial Society of the Rockies located at 2510 Spurgin Road, in Missoula and will be oopen for family and friends. A private family memorial will follow at 1 p.m.
