Jesse A. Todd, 46, of Lubbock, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 2, 2008. He was born on November 5, 1961 in Lubbock to the late Julian and Santos Todd. He married Sylvia Lozoya on March 8, 1980 in Lubbock and had 28 wonderful years of marriage.

Jesse joined the National Guard Reserves at the age of 19 and served six years. He had a love for the Dallas Cowboys since the day he was born and it would be recognized he was their #1 fan. Jesse believed and served the Almighty Jesus Christ which is carried on through his family. He was a loving son and devoted husband, father, “PoPo”, and brother. Jesse will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; children, Monica Mata, Jason, Amanda, and April Todd; 13 grandchildren, Ian, Zachariah, Zion, Jason Jr., Jaida, Jenay, Jesse, Jessaly, Malakai, Nautika, Justice, Keyairah, and Karmine; two brothers; four sisters; step-father, Manuel Mendez Jr.; and grandmother, Francis Rodriguez.

Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Sanders Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Sanders Memorial Chapel with Deacon Benny Brito officiating under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. The family suggest attending the service wearing Dallas Cowboy attire.
