Miss. Jessica Leigh Savage, age 25 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away January 11, 2012 at Southern Regional Medical Center. She was born in Riverdale, Georgia to Richard and Pamela Sims Savage. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James and Ruby Savage. Jessica graduated from Union Grove High School Class of 2007. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, shopping, singing, her computer and talking on the phone. She was a member of the Sunshine League of Henry County, playing baseball and bowling. She was a NASCAR fan who cheered on Tony Stewart. She will especially be missed by her beloved dog, Precious. Survivors include her mother, Pamela Sims Savage of Locust Grove; father, Rick Savage of Morrow; maternal grandparents, Palmer and Ida Lou Sims of Locust Grove; aunts and uncles, Billy and Leanna Sims of Locust Grove, James and Janice Savage of Morrow; cousins, Brent and Craig Savage of Morrow, Chad (Mindy) Sims and Travis Sims all of Locust Grove; second cousin, Connor Sims. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Oscar Walker and Rev. Michael Thomas will officiate. Interment will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
