Mrs. Jessie Hudson Freeman, 95, of Hudson Road, Greenville, died Saturday, November 26, 2011.

She was a native of Greenville and the daughter of the late Milas Eustace Hudson and Lillian Morgan Hudson. Mrs. Freeman was retired from Bruce Construction Equipment and was a longtime member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed reading and visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by her loving family, her sister Mary H. Brewster of Greenville, her nephews E. Bomer Smith and Miles M. Adair, her nieces Eleanor R. Hughes and Lillian S. White and their families and her dear friend, J. Emett Griffin.

Mrs. Freeman is at The Mackey Mortuary where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a service to follow at the Mortuary chapel. Rev. Dr. Ralph Carter will officiate. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
