Mrs. Jewell Keeling Harrison, age 94, of Toccoa, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at The Clary Care Center.

Born January 26, 1919 in Stephens County, she was a daughter of the late Luther Jackson and Mamie Smith Keeling.
Mrs. Harrison was a homemaker who loved to cook and work in her flower garden. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cohen Lamar Harrison, one brother and three sisters.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Janice Johnson of Eastanollee, Diane and Sid Hardeman of Toccoa; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Dianne Harrison of Lakemont; a sister, Doris Ivester; six grandchildren, Shannon Bailey, Brandon Bailey, Tracy Vandiver, Natalie Blakely, Joshua Harrison and John Harrison; ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a large loving family.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Friday, May 31, 2013, at Liberty Hill Baptist
Church with Dr. Bob Massey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Barry Blakely, Brandon Bailey, John Harrison, Joshua Harrison, Kenneth Ivester, and Perry Black.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary, Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

The family wishes to express a special Thanks to the wonderful staff at the Clary Center and her personal caregivers.
