James O. "Jim" Morris, 64, of Owensboro, Kentucky died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at his home. He was born September 7, 1947 in Whitesville, Kentucky. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and worked at Hillcrest Health Care Center as an LPN. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Morris; a son, Billy Lindsey and a nephew Wesley Morris. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Bonnie Morris; a son, Bruce Morris of Owensboro; a daughter, Jackie Havener of Owensboro; his father, Marvin Morris; grandchildren, Hallie Renfrow and Robin Ball; great grandchildren, Caylob Roberts, William and Zyler Ball; four brothers, J.E. (Alice) Morris, David (Peggy) Morris, Charlie (Donna) Morris, Bobby (Karen) Morris; five sisters, Evelyn (Sonny) Stacik, Mary Jo (Carl) Westerfield, Nancy (Dennis) Clark, Virgie (Melvin) Evans, Betty (Gary) Murphy and several nieces and nephews. Services are at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at St. Pius Tenth Catholic Church in Owensboro. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 2:00–8:00 p.m. on Monday, with prayers being said at 6:00 p.m. at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the National Kidney Foundation of Kentucky, 250 E. Liberty Street, Suite 710, Louisville, KY 40202.
