Jimmie Sue Oliver

Pickens – Jimmie Sue Ward Oliver, widow of Paul J. Oliver, formerly of Margaret Street, Pickens went to Heaven Thursday, December 8, 2011.
She was the daughter of the late Claude and Bernice Andrews Ward of Carnesville, GA.

Mrs. Oliver was an entrepreneur; she owned and operated Jimmie Sue's Gifts and Flowers in Pickens for many years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Oliver was a sweet loving mother to her daughters, Marie Welborn (Mac) of Pickens, Brenda Harrelson (Glenn) of Charlotte, NC and Paula Mobley (Bill) of Easley. Grandchildren include Katie Gowan (Noel), Nancy Ford (Todd), and Jennifer Campbell (Steve) all of Pickens, Chad Harrelson (Sabra) of Burlington, NC, Carrie Lewis (Mike) of Wilmington, NC and Amanda Mobley of Greenville, SC, great grandchildren include Trey and Suzanne Gowan , Jonathan and Ryan Ford, Drew and Hannah Campbell and Caleb Lewis. Also surviving is a sister Louise Bennett of Carnesville, GA and Paul White of Greenville and Margaret Rholetter of Easley.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Oliver was preceded in death by grandchildren Amy Suzanne Welborn and Dave Jeffrey Harrelson.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Sunday, December 11, 2011 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with The Reverend Jimmy Dillard and Mr. Paul White officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a special note of gratitude to the entire staff of Capstone Health and Rehab in Easley.
