Jimmy Dale Walker, age 58 of Benton, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 09, 2011 at the Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant. He was born December 18, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to Thurman Walker and Ruth Walker Beasley. Jimmy proudly served in the United States Marines and was a tile setter by trade. He is survived by one son, Steven Walker and his wife Vicki of North Little Rock; one daughter, Tammy Walker of Benton; one sister, Darlene Andrews of Russellville; eight grandchildren, Jake and Matt Carper, Mason Fullington, Carley and Emily Walker, Abby and Aaron VanCleave and Andrew Walker as well as a host of family members and friends who loved him very much. He was preceded in death by his parents Thurman Walker and Ruth Walker Beasley; step-father Pete Beasley; a daughter Tracy Walker Fullington; his brother Randy Walker and one grandson Joshua Fullington.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2011 in the Peaceful Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Saline Memorial Hospice Chaplain Kim Hammer officiating.
