  Jim is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ila Mae and their four children and families, daughter Elena and son-in-law Eldon Nuss, Carbondale, KS; son, Sam, daughter-in-law Mary Beth and grandchildren Jimmy Vic, Mallorie and Emily; son Jimmy G. and granddaughters Katie, Abbie, Lucy and Libbe; and daughter Cheryl, son-in-law Kenny and grandchildren Autumn, Skylar, Kalissa and Chance Hurst all of Overland Park, KS.  He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Bessie, brother Tasso and sister Annette.Jim was a life time member of the Greek Orthodix Church of the Annunciation, 12001 Wornall Road, KC, MO. 

  A memorial service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, September 13, 2008 at KC Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64145.  The family suggests donations to the church or to KC Hospice House.
