Jo Ann was born Sept. 19, 1947, in Galveston, Texas. Passed away May 8, 2011, in Lancaster, Calif. She has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1985. She worked for 18 years as Senior Finance Clerk in the Parks and Rec Department for the City of Palmdale. Survived by her husband John Justice of Lancaster, daughter Kristie (Adam) Dayen of Reseda, grandchildren Raven (Adam) Jordan of Alaska, Joshua (Brenda) Werner of Alaska, Rachael Culp of California, Alex Smith of Reseda, Tyler Dayen of Reseda, Madison Dayen of Reseda, 4 great-grandchildren, Nathan, Isabelle, Jonathan and Kaylee. Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2011, with Vigil Prayer Service at 3 p.m., at Halley-Olsen-Murphy, Lancaster. Interment will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colo.
