JoAnn Jernigan, 70, of Hot Springs Village, died Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Arkansas Hospice in Hot Springs. She was born December 28, 1940, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Virginia Cain and the late Gerald Neal.
Survivors are her husband, Charles Jernigan of Hot Springs Village; children, Scott Johnson of Arkansas; Tracie Palmer of Texas; brothers, Jerry Neal of Arkansas; Kenneth Neal of Florida; and her grandson, Nathan Palmer of Texas.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 501-455-1067. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
